Ceremony Locations
The Chapel of the Good Shepherd
Weddings at Whitestone Country Inn take place in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, an expanded replica of the Anglican Chapel in Rugby, Tennessee. Symbolic elements are in all church buildings, and this one is no exception: three crosses dominate the ceiling, representing the three crosses at Calvary. The steeple and gothic windows point toward heaven, while three gables and steps to the platform represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The rosette stained glass window by Chris Myers depicts the staff and crown, illustrating the roles of Christ as King and Shepherd.
The Courtyard Gazebo
The Courtyard Gazebo is a small, quaint gazebo that sits on a high knoll with breathtaking views of Watts Bar Lake, a few short steps from the Lion and Lamb banquet and reception area. It’s connected to a heart-shaped stone courtyard which can seat up to 150 guests for outdoor weddings or special events. Sunrise, midday or sunset weddings on this special gas-lit patio are a photographers’ dream for wedding memories that will last forever.
