This might look familiar: the red School House, complete with a school bell in its tower, is at the hub of every New England-style village. So, of course, the replica village at Whitestone features one too! More than just a regular fixture, though, our beloved School House was inspired by a Lee Stroneck painting entitled “Country School”.

During your stay at the Whitestone, you’ll be visiting the School House to check in and check out. We also encourage you to stop by our shop and check out the assortment of Whitestone souvenirs, gifts, snacks and beverages. Elsewhere in the School House, you’ll find offices, sporting equipment (tennis, shuffleboard, boating supplies, etc.) and—most importantly—two guest rooms!

The rooms featured in the School House are the Indigo Bunting and Falcon Suites.
