Whitestone Inn Tennessee Bed and Breakfast-4

Interactive Map

Rose Cottage

The Rose Cottage is located closer to the water and is more secluded than the other buildings. From the decks and porches you can often see White-Tailed Deer running through the park. The Rose Cottage houses three very unique guest rooms.

Belgian Horses

The Belgian horse is a horse breed from the West-Brabantian region of Belgium. It is one of the strongest of the heavy breeds. One of the favorite duties of our horses at Whitestone is pulling the Carriage for weddings and other special occasions.

The Pointe

Share in the lifestyle of Whitestone. The Pointe is a real estate development overlooking Watts Bar Lake, home to wildlife and a waterfowl refuge. This is the perfect place to make the home of your dreams. For more information visit the Residence section of our site.

Entrance Barn

As you drive into the main entrance at Whitestone, you will pass through our Entrance Barn, a gambrel roofed red barn typical of barns often seen in East Tennessee. We encourage you to leave your cares behind as you enter the Whitestone Sanctuary for the Soul. Our Entrance Barn houses four guest rooms, three of which have well-equipped kitchens.

The Farmhouse

Federal style architecture inspired The Farmhouse. Porches, decks and patios encourage relaxation. The main floor has gathering areas around the fireplaces. Meals are served on the Sun Porch or in the Sun Room, and there is a formal dining room for small dinner parties. The lower level has a conference room and recreation area with a fireplace, pool table, and games. The upper level is a large library. Nine guest rooms are located in the Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse Gazebo

Surrounded by towering oak and maple trees and overlooking the peaceful Watts Bar Lake, our Large Gazebo seats up to 60 people for a gorgeous outdoor covered wedding, reception, or banquet. This quiet haven bordered by grassy meadows is located in a small glen just a short stroll from our Farmhouse.

Scottish Highland Cattle

Highland Cattle (also known as Hairy Coo or Hielan Coo), are an ancient Scottish breed of beef cattle with long horns and shaggy pelts. The breed was developed in the Scottish Highlands and western coastal regions of Scotland. Our guests enjoy walking the trail to the cattle pasture and feeding the cows.

The Lion & Lamb

The Victorian “L & L,” complete with a two-story octagonal turret and a wrap-around porch, has a large dining area on the main floor where wedding receptions, holiday parties, and larger gatherings are held. A conference room and three luxurious guest rooms are located upstairs.

Heart-Shaped Courtyard & Gazebo

This small, quaint gazebo sits on a high knoll with breathtaking views of Watts Bar Lake. Only a few short steps from the Lion & Lamb and chapel, the gazebo is connected to a heart-shaped, stone courtyard which can seat up to 200 guests for outdoor weddings or special events.

Chapel of the Good Shepherd

A replica of the 1880 Anglican Chapel in Rugby, Tennessee, our chapel has a seating capacity of 200. It has housed concerts, presentations, and over 500 weddings since its completion in 1999. Specially designed to accommodate weddings, it is complete with dressing rooms for the bride and groom and a family parlor located in the lower level.

Boat Dock

Fishing or boating on 39,000 acre Watt’s Bar Lake is available at the inn’s marina; kayaks, canoes, and paddleboats are on-site.

Tennis Courts

The inn serves as a retreat for world-weary people. They find many ways to enjoy relaxation – tennis, hiking, picnicking, bicycling and spa treatments.

The red Schoolhouse, complete with a school bell in the tower, is the hub of Whitestone’s New England style village. This is the reception area where guests check in and out. It also houses a gift shop, offices, two guest rooms, and has sporting equipment for loan (tennis, shuffleboard, boating supplies, etc.).

Working Barn

Our barn is a stunning centerpiece for amazing vistas across the pond with the lake in the background. The Working Barn is appropriately named, as its sole use is as a barn for the Whitestone animals and property.

The Sanctuary

A master planned, destination retreat community, The Sanctuary is a second home real estate development adjacent to Whitestone. Owners have the option to have Whitestone manage their property, and include it in the Central Reservations System. Please check out the Whitestone Residences link on our web site.
